Better know as "Mom's Pecan Sandies". My mom Sharon is the person responsible for these very delicious little Christmas treats. Thanks mom, every time I have them out you are the talk around the table.
What you need:
- 1 cup butter
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup gound pecans
- 2 tsp. water
- 1 tst/ vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
What to do:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Roll each cookie into a 1inch ball. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Roll each cookie in icing sugar while warm.
**These freeze really well, so you can bake well before Christmas and take them out when the festivities begin.**
